Kate Bush’s tune Running Up That Hill has seen a resurgence within the iTunes charts because of Stranger Things. It reached No. 1 days after the fourth season of the Netflix collection — which options the 37-year-old tune in episode 4 — arrived on the finish of May.
“You may’ve heard that the primary half of the implausible, gripping new collection of ‘Stranger Things’ has lately been launched on Netflix,” Bush wrote. “It options the tune,’Running Up That Hill’ which is being given an entire new lease of life by the younger followers who love the present – I adore it too!”
Bush continued, “Because of this, Running Up That Hill is charting all over the world and has entered the UK chart at No. 8. It’s all actually thrilling! Thanks very a lot to everybody who has supported the tune. I wait with bated breath for the remainder of the collection in July.”
The influential English singer-songwriter launched Running Up That Hill in 1985 as the primary single from her traditional album Hounds of Love. Back then it peaked at No. 3 within the UK charts and made all of it the way in which to 30 within the Billboard Hot 100 within the US.
