LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a person who pointed a crossbow at them over the weekend, authorities mentioned Monday.
Deputies responded round 1 p.m. Sunday following reviews of a suicidal man with a knife exterior a enterprise in Lancaster, in response to a sheriff’s division assertion.
“The suspect had a knife in hand and refused the deputies’ orders to drop the weapon. Less deadly weapons had been deployed however had minimal impact,” the assertion mentioned.
