BATH, Maine (AP) — Police have made an arrest following a suspicious fireplace that broken an elementary faculty in Bath.
Police stated a 30-year-old man was arrested by the fireplace marshal’s workplace and native police Saturday night. The man was jailed Sunday for housebreaking and arson. It was unclear if he had an lawyer.
Two firefighters had been handled for accidents whereas battling the blaze that began late Friday at Dike Newell School, which serves pre-kindergarten by second grade.
The faculty’s principal stated in an e mail that there was “intensive harm,” the Times Record reported.
